Wedding Flowers at Cloghan Castle
Wedding of Rachel and Rodolfo
The couple arrived a few days ahead of the wedding with a small group of friends and family to celebrate their wedding and stay for the duration in an Irish Castle.
They asked wedding planner Waterlily Weddings to organise the day who introduced us to this wonderful couple. On the morning of the wedding we arrived early at Cloghan Castle. There was some excitement as there was a temporary blip in the electricity supply so the electric gates would not open and no one could go in or out the castle. This did not last long as a neighbouring farmer came to help, removed some of the fencing at his paddock and allowed us all to drive across his field to the castle. The a few hours later the power was restored again - no panic.
The setup of the ceremony was in front of the castle and we placed a stunning half arch against the wall as a floral backdrop to the ceremony. For the dinner in the banqueting hall of the castle we went with rich and dramatic colours in purples, greens, reds, burgundy’s and deep pinks.
We were delighted to have the opportunity to be part of this day and hope they will have created a lifetime of happy memories for themselves and their guests at their Irish wedding.
Special thanks to Shane from Aspect Photography for the amazing pictures.
